Moths
There are over 2,400 species of
Moths
in the UK, all completely
harmless apart from a handful which can cause harm to textiles, such as cloths, carpets
and curtains, and to food. They are the only pests that do not present health
risks to humans.
Damage - Once inside your house the moths
larvae eat natural fibers like cotton,
wool and silk. Damaging the material over time causing you to replace it sooner.
The larvae of some moths can infest food products, therefore contaminating them.
Sign's of Moths
Presence, you will notice moths
flying around the room, resting on
surfaces, if you see one then they are unlikely to be alone.
Damage, if you notice patches within cloths, carpets and curtains then you
will have Fabric Moths. You can also experience contamination of food products.
